EPC
An EPC stands for Energy Performance Certificate. Current legislation requires all properties (residential or commercial) put on the market for sale or rental purposes to have a valid Energy Performance Certificate.
The EPC details information about the energy efficiency of the property such as carbon emissions and typical energy costs. Ways in which you can improve your home’s energy efficiency are also included which if implemented can save you money whilst being kind to the environment.
An EPC is valid for up to 10 years with properties rated on a scale from A-G with A rating being the most energy efficient.
