Valuations, Leasehold Reform Act, etc.
VALUATIONS: We can provide formal valuations for a wide range of purposes: Probate, Matrimonial, and Taxation purposes as well as Asset Valuations for company accounting purposes. All valuations can be supported by giving evidence in Court or negotiations with the District Valuation Office, etc.
COUNCIL TAX BANDING: We can advise on banding, whether you qualify for an appeal, how to make it, negotiate with the DV and represent you at appeal hearings.
RATINGS: We also deal with ratings appeals on commercial properties.
LEASEHOLD REFORM ACT: Whether you want to extend your lease or buy the freehold of your home or block of flats (i.e. a Collective Enfranchisement) we can carry out a valuation, negotiate on your behalf and if necessary represent you at tribunal.
PLANNING PERMISSION: We can guide you through the process and make applications on your behalf for both large and small schemes. We can also develop a Green Travel Plan where this may be required because of the size or nature of the application or prepare schedules of vacant or alternative space where the application may need to be supported by one, such as a change of use from industrial in an area zoned for industrial.
